Get it sorted the same day

We want the best for your boiler. With plenty of parts in our vans, you don't need to worry about not having any heating. At SMB, we don't believe in quick fixes. That's why we not only repair your boiler, but will actively try and prevent the problem from happening again in the future. Contact us today to arrange an appointment. We will:
  • Clean and inspect the combustion chamber, secondary heat exchanger and clean condensate traps if fitted.

  • Check the burner and oil pump pressure

Keep a close eye on your boiler pressure

The first sign of a leak in your system is low pressure. If you notice the needle on your gauge going down, give us a call. Your pressure gauge is normally colour coded and ideally you always want it to be green. Depending on the make and model, this is normally between 1 and 2 bar, with most manufacturers recommending around 1.3. Anything outside of this and it's best to get one of our engineers out to check it. We're available throughout the week and also offer emergency call outs across the Haverfordwest and Narberth area.

Can you smell oil?

This generally means that your system needs some maintenance and it's important to act fast before it becomes a problem. If you smell an oily odour, see smoke, or detect fumes, switch the appliance off and give us a call. There may be a crack or an issue with your burner and it's important you get it fixed before it starts to release any carbon monoxide. We suggest you turn your appliance off immediately and we'll be with you as quickly as possible.
